On 25, 26 and 27 August 2026, the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA), through the Department of Handicrafts and Informal Sector Migrations, stepped up its capacity-building activities in Limbe, Fako Division, South-West Region.
🔹 25 August 2026: 40 persons with disabilities benefited from a capacity-building workshop in selected handicraft trades, including beading and the production of cleaning detergents.
🔹 26 and 27 August 2026: a theoretical and practical workshop focused on drying and finishing techniques for actors in the wood and related sectors, as well as on their structuring.
Through these initiatives, MINPMEESA continues to promote a more inclusive, professional and opportunity-driven handicraft sector, in line with Cameroon’s development priorities.
