On 25, 26 and 27 August 2026, the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA), through the Department of Handicrafts and Informal Sector Migrations, stepped up its capacity-building activities in Limbe, Fako Division, South-West Region.
25 August 2026: 40 persons with disabilities benefited from a capacity-building workshop in selected handicraft trades, including beading and the production of cleaning detergents. 26 and 27 August 2026: a theoretical and practical workshop focused on drying and finishing techniques for actors in the wood and related sectors, as well as on their structuring.Through these initiatives, MINPMEESA continues to promote a more inclusive, professional and opportunity-driven handicraft sector, in line with Cameroon’s development priorities.
