After a morning devoted to the celebration of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day, the Minister of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts, Achille Basilekin III, received a delegation from the INCYDE Foundation at the end of the day, on 27 June 2023 at his office in the Emergence building. The delegation was led by the Spanish Ambassador to Cameroon, H.E. Ignacio Garcia LUMBRERAS. Discussions focused on bilateral cooperation between the two parties. They dealt with issues relating to entrepreneurship, specifically the training for trainers and capitalising with this foundation on the development of business incubation in the technological, aeronautical and agri-food fields. All these issues are central to MINPMEESA’s concerns. At the end of the audience, the two personalities pledged to pool their efforts to boost entrepreneurship in Cameroon. The INCYDE Foundation was set up in Spain in 1999 on the initiative of chambers of commerce. It is dedicated to promoting and training the entrepreneurial spirit, improving the qualifications of entrepreneurs, and creating and consolidating businesses, by providing them with a space where they can develop their business ideas.
