On September 1–2, 2026, the Akwa Ceremonial Hall in Douala hosted the 11th edition of the Awareness Caravan on SME Membership in Approved Management Centres (CGA), organized by the MINPMEESA under the theme:
“Optimizing the Support Mechanism for Entrepreneurs within CGAs: Challenges, Strategies and Prospects.”
For two days, public administrations, Local and Regional Authorities, CGA promoters, technical and financial partners, and economic stakeholders exchanged on ways to strengthen entrepreneurial support mechanisms and promote tax compliance.
The discussions resulted in several key recommendations:
These recommendations reflect a shared commitment to creating a more business-friendly tax environment, promoting business formalization, and enhancing the competitiveness of Cameroonian SMEs.
CGAs remain a key instrument for supporting entrepreneurs through better management practices, improved tax compliance, and sustainable business growth.
