The Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA) is pleased to announce the official launch of the 5th edition of the CAMEROON KAIZEN AWARDS (CKA 2026).
Held under the theme of operational excellence and sustainable competitiveness, this edition seeks to recognize Cameroonian organizations that have transformed their practices, improved their performance and inspired their ecosystems through operational excellence.
Initiated by the Government of Cameroon, with technical support from the Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (APME), the Cameroonian Association of KAIZEN Professionals (ACPK) and partners of the Cameroon KAIZEN Project/JICA, the awards contribute to the implementation of the National Development Strategy 2020–2030 (NDS30).
KEY OBJECTIVES :
AWARD CATEGORIES
* KAIZEN AWARD: for organizations with at least two years of experience implementing a comprehensive continuous improvement approach based on the KAIZEN methodology.
* 5S AWARD: for organizations that have excelled in implementing and sustaining the 5S principles: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain.
No minimum implementation period is required for this category.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The CAMEROON KAIZEN AWARDS are open to all Cameroonian organizations, regardless of their size or sector of activity, which:
For the KAIZEN Award, candidates must demonstrate at least two years of effective KAIZEN implementation. This requirement does not apply to participants in the 5S competition.
