Beneath the elegant chandeliers of Hilton Hotel Yaoundé, Cameroonian craftsmanship came alive this Saturday, unfolding like a living masterpiece where every creation tells a story, every material carries a legacy, and every artisan reveals a fragment of the nation’s soul.
From the early hours of the day, exhibitors welcomed visitors into their creative worlds, offering a captivating journey through tradition, talent, and innovation.
The highlight of this remarkable event was the arrival of the Minister of SMEs, Social Economy and Handicrafts, warmly welcomed by the General Manager of Hilton Hotel Yaoundé and his delegation.
With the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony, the fair was officially opened—like unveiling the first page of a treasured book celebrating the richness of Cameroonian creativity.
As he toured every stand, the Minister discovered extraordinary works crafted by passionate hands: sculptures, textiles, jewelry, artworks, and innovative creations that embody generations of knowledge and expertise. Each encounter reflected a beautiful dialogue between heritage and the future, tradition and modernity.
More than an exhibition, this fair is a celebration of identity, creativity, and the resilience of our artisans—the true guardians of Cameroon’s cultural heritage.
Through interviews, exchanges, and memorable moments, this first day once again demonstrated that craftsmanship remains one of Cameroon’s finest ambassadors to the world.
A heartfelt thank you to all exhibitors, partners, and visitors who contributed to the success of this inspiring event.
The fair continues until tomorrow at noon. Come and discover, admire, and support local talent!
