Today, the Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts chaired the press briefing officially launching the communication campaign for the 9th International Craft Fair of Cameroon (SIARC 2026).
Held under the theme “Between Tradition and Modernity: How Can We Boost Craft Innovation?”, the event will take place from July 27 to August 5, 2026, at the National Museum in Yaoundé.
During the press conference, the Government reaffirmed its commitment to making the handicraft sector a key driver of wealth creation, job opportunities and the promotion of Made in Cameroon products. The Minister also called on the media, partners, artisans, businesses and the public to support SIARC 2026 and contribute to showcasing Cameroon’s creativity, innovation and rich cultural heritage.
