A partnership agreement to the tune of $21 million to support start-ups in the digital sector, VSEs and SMEs was signed on 27 September 2022 between the Government of Cameroon and the United Nations Development Programme ( UNDP), in the MINEPAT Conference Room.

The partnership is part of the support operation for the Cameroon private sector affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Government of Cameroon was represented by the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development (MINEPAT) Alamine Ousmane MEY, assisted by his counterpart, the Minister of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA), Achille BASSILEKIN III. 

This project (Prodoc), whose funds come from a loan agreement between the Government of Cameroon and BADEA, will cover the Littoral, Centre and West regions and the economically affected areas of the North-West, South -West, and Far North.
