The Minister of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts Achille BASSILEKIN III and H.E Ran GIDOR, Israeli Ambassador to Cameroon paid a visit on Tuesday 29 March 2019 to the Technopole Sub-Valor and the HITECH Centre, two structures set up within the National Advanced Polytechnic School of Yaoundé.

This visit falls in line with the continuation of contact tours within MINPMEESA
partner structures, an opportunity for the SME Boss, to bear testimony of
Government's commitment not only in valorising research work, initiative in SME creation, consolidation of ICTs, and above all digital domestication.

For close to 45 minutes, the two men made a review of all the start-ups operating in
various domains. That enabled them to discover the achievements carried out by
youths who, in spite of their financial difficulties, contribute practical solutions to the problems of the community in general. MINPMEESA which is one of the partners of this centre, has put in place a monitoring mechanism with the aim of building the capacities of the incubated.

The visit continued at the Centre HITECH where experts briefed their two
hosts on the functioning of machines meant for the production of goods and services
that is, ICT technical applications.

At the end, this centre equipped with Israeli technical support, will be the most
productive in Africa going by the state-of-the-art equipment it possesses.

As a reminder, the Technopole Sup-Valour was created in 2010. It is a development
tool and an aid to innovation and the creation of viable and sustainable enterprises
put in place by the NASP (National Advanced School of Polytechnic). Furthermore, it
is a support structure for young project holders. It has as mission to arouse the spirit
of entrepreneurship among the youth.
