he Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development (MINEPAT) informs the public that the Economic Development Support Project through the Promotion of Value Chains and Private Initiative (PAD-CV) has launched a Call for Projects targeting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Cooperatives, Common Initiative Groups (CIGs), Economic Interest Groups (EIGs) and stakeholders operating in agricultural value chains and digital innovation.
Funded by the European Union and implemented under the coordination of MINEPAT over a four-year period, the PAD-CV seeks to promote inclusive economic growth, decent and green jobs, while improving the productivity and competitiveness of Cameroon’s private sector. The Project places particular emphasis on initiatives led by women and young entrepreneurs, while encouraging investments that generate value addition across the country’s territories.
The Call for Projects targets initiatives operating in the following value chains:
Cocoa | Cassava | Maize | Millet | Sorghum | Rice | Cashew | Cotton-Textile | Leather | Wood | Digital solutions supporting agricultural development.
Projects may focus on production, processing, marketing, agricultural services, product valorisation or innovative digital solutions with strong potential for job creation, wealth generation and improved competitiveness.
Eligible applicants must be legally established and operating in one of the Project’s five priority regions:

Successful applicants will receive tailored technical assistance, business plan development support, entrepreneurial capacity building and facilitation of access to finance through partnerships with financial institutions.

 Submission period: Three (03) months from the publication date of the Call.
Applications will first be ranked automatically based on information about the applicant, the economic performance of the enterprise over the last two financial years, and the quality, relevance and feasibility of the proposed project. The 200 highest-ranked applications will then be reviewed by a Selection Committee, which will identify the final beneficiaries of PAD-CV technical support. Special consideration will be given to enterprises and cooperatives led by women and young people under the age of 35.
