The Minister of SMEs, Social Economy and Handicrafts, Achille Bassilekin III, received H.E. Michał Cygan, Ambassador of Poland to Cameroon, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral economic relations and diversify Cameroon’s strategic partnerships.
This meeting aligns with the National Development Strategy 2020–2030, which prioritizes structural economic transformation and the growth of SMEs.
As Poland expands its economic footprint in Africa since 2024, Cameroon stands out as a strategic gateway and leading economy in Central Africa.

Agro-industry & food security – Modern storage and drying solutions to reduce post-harvest losses.
Infrastructure & civil engineering – Development of hydraulic works and construction projects.
Information technology – Banking system modernization and public service digitalization, including FinTech solutions.
