The Namibian High Commissioner to Cameroon whose stay in Cameroon has come to an end said the aim of his meeting with the Minister of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicraft is to learn from the Cameroon experience.
He talked about the various initiatives and possible areas of cooperation pin-pointed by the Minister of SMEs such as SME agency, SME bank, incubation centres and other programmes aimed at providing opportunities to Cameroonian youth in their effort to establish Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
HE Humphrey lauded the effort Cameroon in promoting SMEs and hopes to send a team of government officials from Namibia to participate in Next year’s Exhibition show so as to acquire more knowledge and learn from the Cameroon experience in the promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. He equally stated that Namibia will love to partner with Camerron in the importation of coffee given that Cameroon is doing well in coffee production.
The Namibian High commissioner to Cameroon mentioned that his country will love to do more trade and economic cooperation with Cameroon especially in the exportation of salt, fish and other products while also receiving coffee and other goods from Cameroon. He concluded by emphasizing the importance of trading among African countries instead of partnering with foreign countries
