As part of activities marking the 2026 International Women’s Day celebration at the Ministère des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises, de l’Economie Sociale et de l’Artisanat (MINPMEESA), the female staff of the Ministry paid a solidarity visit on March 4th to Bethanie VIACAM, a centre that cares for abandoned elderly persons, particularly those without children. 
Led by Madam Mercy AFA NANJI, Chair of the IWD 2026 Organising Committee and Director of Handicrafts and Informal Sector Migration, the delegation went bearing gifts—just like the Wise Men in the Bible.
Donations included food supplies , cleaning products , sanitary and medical supplies , as well as a symbolic envelope , all aimed at improving the living conditions of the residents.
