✨ On March 6-7, 2026, Bertoua welcomed a strategic UNHCR mission and came alive with creativity! The craft fair organized by the Regional Craft Village of Bertoua (VARB) brought together refugee artisans and host communities to celebrate integration and economic empowerment.
👑 The ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Grégoire Mvongo, Governor of the East Region, Ms. Yvette Muhimpundu, UNHCR Multi-Country Representative in Cameroon, and other high-level HCR officials and local authorities.
👏 Twenty artisans were recognized for the quality and creativity of their work, showing that craftsmanship is a powerful driver for social cohesion and entrepreneurship.
