Cooperation ties between the Ministry of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts and Food Adventure Ltd. through a convention signed on 27th December 2018 were reaffirmed on Wednesday 08th May 2019 in an audience granted by the Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts Mr. Achille BASSILEKIN III to the Food Adventures Ltd. team headed by its Managing Director, Mrs. Carol Adams. In the presence of Mr. MANDENG Nyobe Jules Marcel, National coordinator of the Support Program for the Creation and Development of SME’s with its acronym PACD/PME accompanied by other close collaborators, Mrs. Carol Adams presented Food Adventure’s mission to Cameroon amongst which are to look for practical food solutions so as to help local SMEs gain a sustainable livelihood from food transformation so as to sell in a variety of markets home and abroad.  Confirming government’s commitment to expanding the Cameroonian food industry and markets, Minister Achille BASSILEKIN III on his part reiterated the importance of this partnership between both structures. He made it known that this partnership is useful not only to craftsmen and women but advantageous to very small enterprises given that packaging and conservation of food products are still some of the challenges faced by SMEs in the food sector thus, the timely intervention of Food Adventures Ltd. Minister Achille BASSILEKIN III also mentioned the fact that this partnership with Food Adventures Ltd. based in the United Kingdom is very timely given that the cabinet possesses highly qualified and experienced food security and quality specialists. It should be noted that these specialists will help ameliorate the quality of Cameroonian food products put at the disposal of the Cameroonian market as well as meet mass consumption needs and consequently meet international standards.
