In a groundbreaking move, the Minister of SMEs, Achille BASSILEKIN III, has signed a special partnership agreement with two key leaders in higher education: the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Jacques FAME NDONGO, and the Rector of the University of Douala, Prof. Magloire ONDOUA.

The signing took place at the National Pilot Business Incubator (PNPE) in Edéa, in the presence of the Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest MASSÉNA NGALLÉ BIBÉHÉ.

The goal: Empower students to become job creators, not job seekers!
-Incubation for student-led projects;
-Prototyping & R&D labs;
-Practical training & internships;
-Mentorship, hackathons, FABLABs, networking;
-Bridging research and business creation..

This agreement reflects a clear ambition: taking youth from ideas to impact, in alignment with Cameroon’s 2020–2030 National Development Strategy (SND30) and the new Higher Education Orientation Law.
First cohort launched in Edéa! IUT Douala students are now integrated into the PNPE entrepreneurial ecosystem.
A Joint Monitoring Unit will ensure performance, innovation, and measurable results. Cameroon is now training graduates who no longer wait for jobs… they build them!
