style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 11th edition of the SME awareness caravan promoting membership in Approved Management Centres (CGA) came to an end on 2 September 2026 in Douala, following two days of discussions, awareness-raising and support for entrepreneurs.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Held under the theme: \u201cOptimising the support system for entrepreneurs through CGAs: challenges, strategies and prospects,\u201d<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">the initiative, led by MINPMEESA, seeks to bring entrepreneurs closer to support mechanisms and promote formalisation, good governance, competitiveness and business sustainability.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp entrepreneurs.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Bringing the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem together<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Public administrations, SME support organisations, employers\u2019 organisations, financial institutions, chambers, decentralised local authorities, CGAs, professional organisations, incubators and technical and financial partners all contributed to this initiative.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The objective was ambitious: to raise awareness among at least 5,000 stakeholders about tax measures and opportunities that can contribute to job creation and business development.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Taking support directly to entrepreneurs<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The caravan also went into the field through a CGA and Entrepreneurs Village, a mobile awareness campaign across Douala, and visits to businesses led by a young entrepreneur and a woman entrepreneur.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Since 2016, MINPMEESA, with technical support from the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) and various partners, has continued to deploy this initiative across Cameroon.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The message from Douala is clear: businesses that want to grow need to be supported, structured and progressively integrated into the formal economy.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">CGA\u2019s therefore remain an important instrument for helping very small, small and medium-sized businesses improve their management, meet their tax and administrative obligations and strengthen their
