{"id":8010,"date":"2026-08-13T16:16:41","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T14:16:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.minpmeesa.cm\/site\/?p=8010"},"modified":"2026-08-13T16:16:41","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T14:16:41","slug":"getec-2026-minpmeesa-at-the-heart-of-the-entrepreneurial-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.minpmeesa.cm\/site\/en\/getec-2026-minpmeesa-at-the-heart-of-the-entrepreneurial-university\/","title":{"rendered":"GETEC 2026: MINPMEESA AT THE HEART OF THE ENTREPRENEURIAL UNIVERSITY."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe Entrepreneurial University at the Heart of the SND30\u201d was the theme of the 8th edition of the Cameroon Student Genius and Talent Fair (GETEC), held at Place de l\u2019Ind\u00e9pendance in Yaound\u00e9, under the chairmanship of Professor Jacques FAME NDONGO, Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education and Chancellor of Academic Orders.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Through GETEC 2026, the Government seeks to strengthen the transition from knowledge to know-how, positioning the university as a genuine hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, production and job creation.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Within this dynamic, the Ministry of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA) is reaffirming its commitment to promoting university entrepreneurship and the emergence of competitive local solutions.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">In 2025, MINPMEESA had already awarded a total grant of CFAF 420 million to the 22 winners of the 7th edition of GETEC, to help them develop their Junior Enterprises, strengthen their productive capacities and accelerate the maturation of their projects.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">For GETEC 2026, this support is reaching a new level, with an announced envelope of CFAF 450 million, intended in particular for the acquisition of equipment, compliance, certification and the protection of innovations.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0This support reflects MINPMEESA\u2019s commitment to transforming students\u2019 ideas and skills into viable businesses, sustainable jobs and \u201cMade in Cameroon\u201d products, in line with the ambitions of the SND30 and the national import-substitution policy.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0From university to business, from ideas to innovation, and from innovation to value creation: MINPMEESA is supporting Cameroon\u2019s youth towards the emergence of future national champions.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The university produces.
