{"id":7866,"date":"2026-06-04T13:51:38","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T11:51:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.minpmeesa.cm\/site\/?p=7866"},"modified":"2026-06-04T14:34:40","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T12:34:40","slug":"pml5-minpmeesa-places-smes-at-the-heart-of-regional-economic-integration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.minpmeesa.cm\/site\/en\/pml5-minpmeesa-places-smes-at-the-heart-of-regional-economic-integration\/","title":{"rendered":"PML5: MINPMEESA places SMEs at the heart of regional economic integration."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts, Achille Bassilekin III, took part on June 1, 2026, in Yaound\u00e9 at the official launch of the 5th edition of the Pro Meet Up and Learn (PML5), held under the High Patronage of the Prime Minister, Head of Government.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0Organized under the theme \u201cIntegrating Corridors: Catalysts for the Development of Sub-Regional Value Chains\u201d, the event brought together several government officials and distinguished guests, including the Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest Mass\u00e9na Ngall\u00e8 Bib\u00e9h\u00e8, representing the Prime Minister, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Gabriel Mbairobe, the Vice-President of the CEMAC Commission, Dr. Charles Assamba Ongodo, as well as representatives of regional institutions, the private sector, and development partners.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">In his address, MINPMEESA highlighted the critical role of SMEs in Cameroon\u2019s structural economic transformation and in the development of regional value chains.
