Also awarded were the Minister of Communication, Spokesperson of the Government, Ren\u00e9 Sadi and the Minister of Water and Energy, Gaston Eloundou Essomba.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Through this distinction, the Confederation of Electricity in Africa commends their involvement in the successful organisation of the fair which aimed at improving the energy potentials of Cameroon and Africa.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The fair took place some few weeks after the celebration of the Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day under the auspices of the Ministry of SMEs. \u00ab\u00a0Access to energy: issues and Challenges for MSMEs\u00a0\u00bb was the theme of that celebration. It was an opportunity to highlight Government initiatives as well as those from other players in the ecosystem, in order to democratise access to energy in a context of sustainable development.\u00a0The ultimate goal of this celebration was to encourage the growth of competitive MSMEs, which in turn will contribute to the industrialisation of our country and the well-being of its people.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Achille Bassilekin III received an award during the Itinerant African Energy Fair held from 12-14 July 2023 at Yaounde Conference Centre.
