The Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA) and the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Promotion Agency (APME), in collaboration with JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), now call for applications for the recruitment of 8 Consultants specialized in 5S\/KAIZEN. The 2-week training session will take place in September 2023. During the training, which will be conducted by Japanese and Cameroonian experts, candidates will have 4 or 5 days of lectures and workshops, and 6 days of hands-on practices in a number of enterprises.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
After the training, the best consultants may be solicited by MINPMEESA and APME (if necessary) as 5S\/KAIZEN consultants.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
— Requirements for candidates who want to become 5S\/KAIZEN consultants:<\/div>\n
a.\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Be between 30 and 46 years old (as of August 1, 2023).<\/div>\n
b.\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Be available to take part in training for 2 weeks from Monday to Saturday.<\/div>\n
c.\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Have a digital camera and a laptop PC with an authentic version of Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, Paint and PowerPoint) properly installed.<\/div>\n
At the second level of the selection process, candidates must bring their own computers and digital cameras to take the PC tests.<\/div>\n
d.\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Have a good mastery of computer tools (Word, Excel, Paint and PowerPoint).<\/div>\n
e.\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Be in good physical and mental health, able to work in a store or factory with the staff of the companies in the pilot phase.<\/div>\n
f.\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Must have the authorization of his\/her hierarchy in their company or organization.<\/div>\n
g.\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Agree to receive only transportation fees during the training period (there will be no per diems).<\/div>\n

2)\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Candidates who pass the first stage will take part in an ONLINE Zoom interview, on Tuesday the 29th or Wednesday the 30th of August 2023, and in a computer test on Tuesday the 5th or Wednesday the 6th of September 2023 in Ebolowa.<\/div>\n

3)\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Candidates must bring their (i) digital camera and (ii) laptop PC for the computer tests. Successful completion of these tests will give access to the training session.<\/div>\n
Candidates who fail to have properly functioning Laptop PC and digital camera will be automatically disqualified and will not be able to participate in the training session.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
4)\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Candidates will receive the final selection result by Thursday, 7th September 2023 latest. Please note that the organizer will not answer any questions related to the recruitment process of the consultants to be trained.<\/div>\n
