{"id":383,"date":"2018-12-27T11:50:19","date_gmt":"2018-12-27T10:50:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.minpmeesa.cm\/site\/?page_id=383"},"modified":"2019-02-07T13:27:08","modified_gmt":"2019-02-07T12:27:08","slug":"missions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.minpmeesa.cm\/site\/en\/ministry\/missions\/","title":{"rendered":"Missions"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA) was created in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">December 2004 by Presidential Decree No. 2004\/320 to lay down the organisation of the Government, amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2011\/408 of 09 December 2011 and recently supplemented by that of 27 May 2013 No. 2013\/169.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It shall be responsible for the elaboration, implementation and evaluation of Government policy with regard to the development of small and medium sized enterprises, social economy and handicrafts.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this regard,it shall be responsible for: \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">promoting and supervising small and medium-sized enterprises and handicrafts;<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> developing Social Economy;<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Building, in collaboration with professional organisations, a data and projects bank for investors in small and medium-sized enterprises and handicraft sectors\u00a0;<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship and private initiative;<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">monitoring the activities of bodies offering assistance to small and medium sized enterprises and handicrafts;<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">promoting small and medium sized enterprises and handicrafts products, in collaboration with the professional organisations concerned;<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">monitoring professional organisations of small and medium sized enterprises and handicrafts;<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">monitoring the evolution of the informal sector and studies related thereof;<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">identifying and studying possibilities of the migration of informal sector actors towards handicrafts and micro-enterprises;<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">studying all measures aimed at informing and training informal sector actors etc. (see organisational chart)<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA) was created in December 2004 by Presidential Decree No. 2004\/320 to lay down the organisation of the Government, amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2011\/408 of 09 December 2011 and recently supplemented by that of 27 May 2013 No. 2013\/169.
